Journey to the West - Day 3

Well we left Brandon, Manitoba and headed into Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan has a very similar landscape as Manitoba right until you drive through Regina. Then the landscape starts to roll and there is cattle everywhere; unfortunately I left my cowboy boots at home so I was not able to fit in well. But besides that point Saskatchewan reminds me of the old west and I would love to live there one day and work on a ranch.

The old western landscape transfers into the southern region of Alberta and there is even more cattle ranches. Then you got the Canadian Pacific Railway traveling along the Trans Canada Highway and you are waiting for Cowboys to Ride along and raid the train.

Then you enter Calgary where you get the preview of the monstrous Rockies that lurk in the background of the landscape. Will and I were pumped to drive through the Rockies but right when we entered Calgary you start to have your nerves take hold and not the adrenaline pumping you up. Though you just got to get through it and drive right into the belly of the beast.
